How It’s Used (UV DTF Workflow)

Print on Film A

Start your UV printer with Platonink UV DTF Varnish Ink, and print it either all over the design or in some areas as a finishing layer to emphasize those areas.

UV Cure

While the UV printing is done, the varnish is cured. The right curing gives a surface that is hard, glossy, and protective and that also bonds to the printed layers underneath quite well.

Combine with Other Layers

Varnish can be applied to the CMYK or white ink layers to make the colors more vibrant, the image deeper, and the print tougher against wear and the effects of nature.

Laminate with Film B

To finalize the AB transfer system, Film B is laminated on top of the cured Film A layer and to get the design ready for hard surface application.

Peel and Apply

Take off Film A, firmly press the transfer onto the desired surface, and then take off Film B to show the smooth, glossy, and durable finished design.
